Posted: 5/9/2014
Nirmal Krishnan, Twinsburg City Schools, was awarded the Ohio Educational Service Center Association's 25th Annual Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award. The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award Program was established by Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from each county in Ohio receives this annual honor.
In April, Nirmal, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Uma and Sundar Krishnan, Nirmal's grandfather, and Twinsburg High School Principal, Louise Teringo, accompanied Linda Fuline, Superintendent of the Summit County Educational Service Center, to the annual Franklin B. Walter Program and luncheon where all Ohio County recipients were honored.
Additionally as a direct result of Alan's award, he will receive a $500 book scholarship from the Summit County Superintendents' Association to his college of choice, Johns Hopkin's University. On behalf of Summit County ESC, congratulations Nirmal and best wishes in your future endeavors.
