More than 200 people representing 28 school districts across northeast Ohio attended the Close Reading Strategies for Nonfiction and Informational Text, presented by Kylene Beers and Robert Probst.
“Ohio teachers helped with this new book by trying and testing the nonfiction strategies. Several videos within the book depict Ohio teachers using the strategies. Because they were so supportive and critical to the success of this book, Ohio teachers attending the event October 21 were the first teachers in the United States to receive our new book,” said Beers.
