Below you will find a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). These questions have been asked by applicants on a regular basis. If you have additional questions contact David Jones at the address below.


How do I know my information has been saved?
Once the SUBMIT button has been click at the end of each section your information will be saved.

Can I go back to another section without losing information?
Once you submit your information you can move from section to section without losing information.

Why can't I select more than 1 item in a selection list?
To select more than one item at a time hold down the CTRL key while clicking on each item within the list(s).

Why isn't the application accepting the date/dollar amount I enter?

  • Long Dates must be entered as MM/DD/YYYY. Put a zero in front of single digits. 02/16/1961
  • Short Dates must be entered as MM/YYYY. Put a zero in front of single digits. 02/1961
  • Please use a / when entering the date. Don't use a dash - or quotes "" in the Date fields.
  • Dollar amounts must be entered without a comma.

The application will not accept "Quarter Hours". How do I convert "Quarter Hours" to "Semester" hours?
1 quarter hour = .67 semester hour For example 5 quarter hours = 3.35 semester hours.

I am graduating in May and haven't received my license. What should I put as my Licensure status?
You will need to do two things. First select the correct "License Type" and "License Length". Second choose PENDING from the "License Status" box.

I have more than one license. How do I add others?
Once you have entered information for one license and submitted it, just click on ADD to enter another license.

The College/University I attended is not listed. What do I do?
In the COLLEGE box of the College section select OTHER for your state. By default OTHER shows up as the College. Enter the name of the College that you attended in the box labeled "Name of college, if not in list".

I'm having trouble attaching a document, resume, etc. What do I do?
Your document must be in one of these forms in order for the document to upload:

  • Microsoft Word (*.doc)
  • WordPerfect (*.wpd)
  • Hypertext (*.htm, *.html)
  • Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf)
  • Text File (*.txt)
  • JPEG (*.jpg)
  • TIFF (*.tif)

I want to see/print out my entire application without having to view each section. How can I print my final results?
From the application menu select the PREVIEW screen. This will display the entire application. Select PRINT from the browsers menu bar.

How do I prevent Districts from viewing my application?
In the application menu bar select DISTRICTS. To select all or to unselect all districts click on the selection box in front of Summit County Area Human Resources Consortium. To select individual districts make sure that the selection box is checked.

How do I know that my application has been sent?
Your application is not sent to the school districts in paper form. Your data is stored in a database and the districts search the database for candidates that meet their requirements.

How often do the districts search the database?
Many of the districts search the database on a daily bases during the hiring process.

How current are the Job Postings?
If a job is posted it is active. Once the hiring date is reached the posted job is removed.
